Italians, the majority of population in this small town love their banana peppers, I guess.  Usually I stuff banana peppers and cook them like I did <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nandyala.org\/mahanandi\/archives\/2005\/09\/14\/hot-stuffed-cherry-peppers\/\">cherry peppers<\/a>.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/greenjackfruit.blogspot.com\/\">Mika<\/a>, my blog friend, posted a wonderful <a href=\"http:\/\/greenjackfruit.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/banana-pepper-sabzi.html\">recipe with banana peppers<\/a>, last month. I tried it today and we both (Vijay &#038; I) really liked it. It is very easy to prepare too. <\/p>\n<p><center><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/mahanandi\/images\/bananapepper\/bananapepper1.jpg\" class=\"noborder\" alt=\"Banana Peppers - Whole and Cut\" \/><\/center><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greenjackfruit.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/banana-pepper-sabzi.html\"><strong>Recipe<\/strong><\/a>: <\/p>\n<p>Take four banana peppers. Wash &#038; dry, slit them in the middle and remove the seeds. Cut them into bite-sized pieces.<br \/>\nIn a pan, heat one teaspoon of peanut oil, do the <i>popu or tadka<\/i> (toasting cumin, mustard seeds and minced garlic).  Add the cut banana pepper pieces. Cover and cook them, stirring occasionally for 5 minutes, until they are tender to touch.
