I first met her at a forum, fell in love with her depth of knowledge and deep understanding of our food culture and traditions. <\/p>\n<p>I have written a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nandyala.org\/mahanandi\/archives\/2005\/11\/23\/indian-food-magazines\/\">post<\/a> a while back on Mahanandi, inquiring about Indian food magazines. In response, she has mailed me two Indian food magazines (Tarla Dalal and Savvy), a cookbook- &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bagchee.com\/BookDisplay.aspx?Bkid=B33262\">Ruchira &#8211; Selected Maharashtrian Vegetarian Recipes<\/a>&#8221; and also a packet of traditional Marathi &#8216;godaa or kala masala&#8217;.
