For All You Mothers Out There Who Visit My Blog and To My Dear Sisters ~ Happy Mother’s Day!
Big, beautiful and just perfect to prepare authentic chutneys in 5 minutes – 13 dollar pestle and mortar from Marshalls. What a deal!
Republican Congress wants to censor the free Internet and curtail the free flow of information. It’s going to be a big blow to all of us bloggers and leads to demise of web sites like ours. This coming Tuesday, some food bloggers are going to blog on this issue. Pay attention because it’d affect us all. – Check this link for detailed information on this topic.
Indira,
Happy Mothers Day to you and to other readers too.
I appreciate you noticing how the big telecom companies are trying to restrict free flow of information via internet. If the US congress passes any such bill, these companies will start charging money for accessing individual websites, apart from charging for providing internet access.
Regards,
Jaya

Hey Indira! I doubt anything will come out of this as it will shut down a lot of small American businesses that have an Internet-only presence.
MTNL of India limits usage by a bandwidth quota on each ADSL account (not to be confused with bandwidth for a web site).

Thanks for the wishes, and happy mother’s day to you too. (Don’t remember reading about your kids anywhere) 🙂
Went to Marshalls today, and looked around for the mortar and pestle. Couldn’t find. 🙁

Manisha… I know, but paying attention about these things is important and because it’d affect us all. Thanks.
RP…that’s a bummer. Lakshmi mentioned in her post, that it was on sale at Marshalls.

Wow! I feel like writing a poem to your rose! But lack of creativity. Sorry. 🙁
I purchased a motar pestle for 11$ at a Philippino Store. Oriental Stores usually have them cheaper.
