Flower Bouquet, My Embroidery Work in a Frame
Wishing You a Happy Holiday Season!
(I am taking few days off from blogging for the holiday season. Mahanandi is also going through some changes to get a fresh look for the coming new year.)
Vibrant Old Look (2005-2007) …. A Fresh Look in Magazine Style for 08
The new look is for the website is very nice. This looks like an artists canvas, displaying great creations. The theme, layout, and style are very classic and appealing. Best wishes for another successful year! 🙂

More white space is always better and easier to read!
Have a good break, Indira! It’s been a great experience to work together with you on several fronts this year.
I wish you and Vijay the very best for the New Year!

I think i preferred the old look….with too much whiteplace information just flows…there is no visual spatial defninition

Love it. 🙂

Hi Indira, I liked the old colors on your site, but the white looks nice and bright. It’s comforting that the layout remains familiar, though!
My best wishes to you, Vijay, Kittaya, and of course to your wonderful blog, for 2008!
Thanks for linking to my site a couple of weeks ago!

Change is always good. I will get used to this soon. But when I first saw the new look, this word came to my mind “Immaculate Mahanandi”! Sorry if I am sounding indifferent! Wishing you and Vijay and great New Year! Wishing you both good health and prosperity!

Happy New Year
I loved your old look….the white is rather difficult for the eye to read. Will get used to this new look as well…

Happy Holidays Indra, This new look is good; simple and neat (Though my preference would be a change in colours!!)

Happy New Year to You and Ur family, Indira. I kinda miss the old look with a classic colour combination. Some kind of background colour would be a nice change too. Love to see the Telugu “ma” symbol.

Jus curious, which theme in wordpress have you used? My dad is setting up a site for his students and I could not find a better one than yours. He has similar ideas for example: Lectures by topics which is similar to Recipes by ingredients. How is this created? Could you provide some help here?
Thanks.

Hi Indira,
I stumbled across your Web site while looking for a masoor daal recipe and I am so glad I found you! Your photos are beautiful, your recipes are inspiring and and your musings on life, food and culture are enlightening. Wishing you a wonder-filled, magical, safe, healthy and successful 2008!

Indira, Holiday Greetings!
I perceived the previous vibrant colors as a dynamic representation of you and your expert enthusiasm for the Indian Kitchen. The new look seems dull and lacking of this spirit. I miss the complementary visual stimulation to your delectable recipes.
Wishing you many magical moments throughout the new year!
