  1. Hey first to comment..

My mom makes these beauties too. Definitely a delicious snack on a rainy day. We usually have these boiled peanuts with piece of jaggery on the side.

I visit your website daily sometimes 3 or 4 times a day. I made your mango jam last week. To simply put it less ingredients more taste..

Where did you get raw peanuts in Seattle?
By the way, I tried out your Date cake and it turned out great. I used yogurt instead of milk and added 1 grated carrot, banana and egg yolks for the babies. They love it.

  8. Thanks All. Have a nice weekend!

Hi Archana: From Viet-Wah. The south Jackson street location is near to us. Also prices are little bit on the low end compared to Uwajimaya and they sell all types of our vegetables there.
Your version of date cake sounds great Archana. Little darlings liked it, then it must be super good.:)

  9. Thanks Indira for the tip. I guess I need to spend more time in ID than N. Seattle for all the wonderful indian treats including my favorite nungoo and peanuts.

Oh yes, the little ones have palates of gourmet foodies. Its hard to please them at times! 🙂
